Chair-supported yoga isn’t as popular as it should be. Over the years, I’ve had the honor of guiding dozens of students who are recovering from injury or experiencing chronic pain. These students benefit from a practice that offers some support, like a seat when fatigue hits or a structure to help with balance.

Using a chair as a prop offers a different experience than restorative yoga or a fully seated/reclined practice. It’s a step between the aforementioned practices and a general population class.

I will always love teaching one-on-one private classes for students so that I can customize their practice. But I’m also happy to offer chair and chair-supported classes on my YouTube channel.
